This Halloween, step into the terrifying world of Master Junji Ito at INCUBASE Arena in Hong Kong and experience the 'Japanese Haunted House'. The 'Junji Ito Horror Experience Exhibition 2' features classic characters Tomie and Soichi, faithfully recreating the stories and ramping up the scare factor. After making it through the haunted house, visitors can admire replicated animation storyboards and a three-dimensional display of iconic scenes from 'Uzumaki'.
One Ticket, Two Exhibitions — Village of Atonement and Town of Evil, an Immersive Experience of Dual Horror Chapters
Unlike other stations that separate the two exhibitions, the Hong Kong station offers a double dose of terror, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the eerie atmosphere of the manga. Visitors enter in darkness, guided only by a 'lifeline', and experience the world of 'Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Horror Stories', including ten classic fantasy chapters such as 'Tunnel奇譚', 'The Attic with Long Hair', 'The Phantom of the Bookshelf', 'Tomie: Photo', 'The Endless Maze', 'The Balloon-Headed Boy', 'Bad Kids', 'The Headless Sculpture', 'Soichi's Pet', and 'The Moaning Drainpipe'.
Masterpiece Display
After navigating the thrilling exhibition area, visitors enter the 'Mysterious Exhibition Area', where they can peruse animation storyboards by Junji Ito and gain insight into the creative process and secrets behind the stories. The area also features a 'Uzumaki' section with three-dimensional displays of iconic scenes, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the chilling atmosphere of the story.
Exhibition Shop and Themed Cafe
Towards the end of the exhibition area, there is an exhibition shop where fans can purchase exclusive Hong Kong station merchandise with high collectible value. This is a rare opportunity for fans to get their hands on these items. On the B1 floor outside the exhibition area, a themed cafe invites visitors to taste 'Dark Cuisine' and fully embrace the bone-chilling experience with all their senses.
